Title: WTB: Ignition Parts for 77 1.8 Alfetta Sedan
Post by: RLeT on May 22, 2018, 09:47:35 PM
Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for where to buy a condenser for a Bosch distributor on a 1.8L 1977 Alfetta Sedan.  I have 1 recommendation already (thanks Rowan!), but I want to see if there's anywhere else.  I figure it should cost $10-20.  Supercheap wants $108, and I'm guessing I should be able to a lot better than that.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks in advance.
Richard.

You could ask the guys at Cilebertis in Ozzie Park, they usually have that sort of thing on hand. Plus there are a few FB groups where you might find someone who has what you are after, if you are prepared to wait for delivery. Also one of the members of this forum runs an Alfa parts supplier in Melbourne (can't recall its name right now, but a forum search should find it pretty quick)

If it's a Bosch distributor, won't the condenser be shared with dozens of other Oz-sold vehicles from the era?

One interchange list here, suspect very incomplete:

Thanks Poohbah. I rang Ciliberti and they had one at less than half the price of Supercheap.

Cheers, Richard.
