I've always said, if you ever want "more fun than a barrel of drunk monkeys" in a track car the 147 GTA is THE easiest & cheapest way to go. No need to touch the engine, just strip the car down in weight and it becomes so much more quicker and nimble you'll be giggling all the way.
If you want to get serious you can then ad the usual goodies as you desire.
