Not sure if anyone else has seen or posted this epic lap of the Ring by a 75, filmed by the guy following in his Elise, who really appreciates tracking someone who knows what they are doing.
That 75 looks so planted, plus the guy driving clearly has some talent.
I've done 6 laps...in an E36 318 with KW coilovers and M3 brakes/rims/semis.... that guy in the 75 looks like a gun- he's obviously
Heel/toeing like a champ and at every single point he is smooth and on the best line.
One thing about that place is, if you see the best line a fraction late, you've got no chance of getting anywhere near it. Inspiring. Hope he is on RS intrax suspension!
Thanks for sharing
They had two 75 being used as ring taxis (drivers for hire) when I was there (2008).
I wonder if they're still being used
It's Probably one of the Ron Simmons Racing 75s - he's been running them as ring cars for 15 years or more.
Found him.
He cropped up again here:

and commented about it being a 12v 3.0....
following to his youtube profile, some in car:

In the comments:
"Most important by RSR tuned Intrax suspension and stabilising (Result of Rons Simons, RSR years of experience at the ring); Brembo brakes (not needed really) and virtually all interior (weight) out: 1000-1050kg; standard 3LV6_V12_190HP engine; and 1500 laps or so in last 10 years of exercising."
Nice investigative work. Man, I so want one of those 75s.
I's rather a worked 155 V6 ;)
DTM spec of course.
I had the pleasure of meeting Ron when I was at the 'ring with my 75 TS and seeing his extensive collection of race cars. I breezed past the McLarens and other exotica so I could get a better look at the 75s and GTV6s!
