Unfortunately unable to locate any footage of the Group S racing held on Friday or Saturday. Additionally, the 7Mate telecast timings did not include these races. Results of Group S can be found at the following link.

GT3 is faster (and hours longer) than Supercars, and an international formula.  With Falcon and Commodore out of production, even the silhouette connection will soon die out.  And these days there are plenty of Audi / BMW / Mercedes-Benz owners out there even if they don't wave Holden or Ford flags at McPhiillamy Park.

is GT3/4 the future for contemporary hardtop racing???

Some images.
Chefs at work.
Oh, huge thanks to Evan, Phil, Bruno, Alf, Craig, Alan, Noel and many others for feeding and watering me the whole weekend.  I did absolutely nothing to help.  Evan drove me around all weekend too.

Any in car vision Neil?

Wasn't going to, stopped showing bad driving, Brent.  But..........for some giggles and laughs.
Only so much you can do with 100 horses, not kidding.
Finally figured out how to upload 360 vision, but restricted to 2:1 ratio, wide vision lost.  Only first couple laps of each race, rest was embarrassing and not worth showing.

Thanks Neil. Always good to take a white knuckle ride around Mt Panorama with a fellow Alfa nut. Thanks for the video mate.

White knuckle ride!!!!  I had that much time and slow enough to sip my macchiato and didn't spill it.

Great vision and thank's for sharing Neil. It looks like it was a hard day in the office. Your neck muscles got a real good work out checking rear view mirror. ;)

Well done Neil - first time out on a hugely daunting circuit.  I'm scared just walking the track.  You brought the car back in one piece and looked like loads of fun as well.

Should have seen your face when you came back from practice - your eyes were like saucers.  ;D

Yeah, you can spin the iPad around to view all around.  Better on a phone in VR mode with VR goggle.

It might have been slow on the straights Neil, but it still looked like a heap of fun from my lounge room. Cheers, Brent

In technology theory land :).  This is what Apple does to it on my iPad:

FWIW the 360 video works great on the iPad in the YouTube app if you have it installed. Even better if you sit in a swivel chair while watching  8)

Yeah, I know Evan. But the browser view is kind of cool - no need to swivel. Maybe I'm just getting lazy in old age.
