Great choice Joe, the Veloce is the one I aspire to as well.   Keep us up to date, very envious.

Mine is a standard 2 litre turbo 200hp giulia with the veloce extras: wheels, active suspension, nicer interior, tinted glass, black window frames, sports steering wheel etc
The actual giulia veloce has 280hp, Q2 lsd, is about 20 grand more and i think it has race mode
and then theres the qv...

Congrats,  Quite unique and special as one of the first owners in oz, how was the delivery process at the dealership,  did they make a bit of fuss about ur special purchase , how did they treat u .. Photos with u n salesman

Thanks
Yes there was a bit of a fuss about being the first even though we are talking about the same guys that sell lambos and ferraris. Delivery process was memorable and the salesman was a gentleman, he took his time, showed us everything about the car. I have photos but there too big to post here.

"Sergio Marchionne"  CEO . Maybe Pinocchio was a little harsh .

Have a look at the enclosed report . Looks like he was being paid a heap more to talk things up that actually produce cars . Maybe delivering the new Giulia is financially the worst thing he was ever done on a personal front.

Just an update.
We've had her for 2 weeks now and its all  ;D ;D ;D.
On the long weekend drove to Dromana and then the twisty way to Red Hill, on the way up i had a bit of a go, well have to say with 4 adults and a full boot of luggage, felt like there was plenty of shove from THE BACK WHEELS. 10 out of 10 for steering and handling and was having a hell of a time till i copped a slap in the head from one of the ladies in the back, so then i had to test the brakes and they're excellent too.
Pros galore, struggling with any cons so how about the bugger all engine noise and that missing pipe.
cheers Joe

I understand Zagame's have delivered some Giulia's with a very locally developed and manufactured aftermarket exhaust.  Warranty unaffected!

Peter had his new Giulia QV at Phillip Island on Saturday - very impressive.  Maybe more photos taken of it than any other car!?!

FCA has a 4C, Giulia QV and Veloce on display at the GP.  The Alfa's were attracting a lot more interest than the ho hum AMG's next door!!

Hi fellow members
just a quick one saying Giulias done just over 7000kms and no issues to report. :D
Contemplating whether I should do an oil and filter change soon rather than wait till the 15k scheduled service.
Cheers Joe

Does the log book recommend in between oil changes at 7500kms?  If so, go ahead.

Hi folks
thought 'd give a quick update on how the giulia was going. Yesterday had the 1st service done at Zagame and apart from the usual  items, they changed the turbo coolant seals to upgraded ones and did software update. Dropped it off at 9 picked her up at 4. That's it :D

Hi again.
Thought id do an update as its coming up to 3 years now and had her in last week for the third service (31000kms). Tyres were at 24000 and the engine coolant bottle needed to be replaced around the same time cause it had a slight leak at the seam. This latest service showed that the battery was a bit down so the boys replaced it and they also adjusted the boot lid. Thats it. ☺
Cheers Joe
