Has anyone else seen this on YouTube?

I wish it had subtitles as I don't understand French.
Also, has anyone removed the rear suspension like this before? It looks to me like they just dropped the whole rear suspension leaving the transaxle in the car.
Cool stuff..
Yep, have removed rear assembly like that. Just disconnect all things attached and lower or lift.
I liked the hoist more.
Any French speaking Alfistis out there know what it sold for in the end?'.

Thanks Neil, how did you support the front of the transaxle ? My alfetta has a worn wheel bearing and I'm planning to repainted a spare rear suspension assembly with good wheel bearings, fit some new bushes and swap them over.
Put a jack underneath to support the front, once you are undone the 4 bolts to the front gearbox mount. The tailshaft while still connected will hold the gearbox in place.

Are those hoists available in Australia? Looks great :)

Didn't see any locking pins. If it was make in China I wouldn't be sticking my head underneath it. No matter how good it locked.
I was worried @ 31min.44sec when the mechanic put the brake booster in!!
But looks like they fixed it off camera before the video @ 33min.58sec

Careful, your China made iPhone will also blow up in your pants and cook your nuts.

8700 (Euro)
Merci bouquet . I didn't understand the dialogue in the clip . But it seems to confirm, other than "cuore sportivo" there is no new economic reality about throwing a fist full of dollars at an old Alfetta ; just yet,
