Title: Can your recommend a good Alfa service centre in sydney
Post by: Alcazar on April 19, 2016, 08:26:19 AM
Hi,

I live in Katoomba NSW and I am looking for someone to service my Alfa Romeo Giulietta.
I am looking for a mechanic that is reliable fair with costs and who will leave my car clean, using floor mats and seat covers etc  :). I am happy to take it to somewhere in Sydney if needed west maybe.

Can you recommend someone.

Following recommendations, I went to Franks Pit Stop. Friendly. However, I can't help but feel I was overcharged for the work and when I compare quotes for equivalent work by AlfaMen in Victoria, it is definitely much more expensive at Franks.
So, I'm still looking for a reliable and honest Alfa mechanic in Sydney.

Thought I would just update an old thread with current information....

VROOM , Think for warranty u will have to go to a dealership service dept , ie  Mcarrols north sydney 12 Barcoo St, Roseville NSW 2069
T (02) 9406 8348  , dont think independents can do warranty .   As far as independent specialists , think Max Oddi at leichhardt is the most honest n price is fair .  Unfortunately in Sydney u have to b carefull with the $$$$$$$$$

Thanks Lombardi. I was forced to go to Alfa service in Parramatta last night for a coolant leak that overheated the engine and was stalling. I also see some white spray around the radiator fan. Does seem like something leaked and splashed over.
Fingers crossed on the check from Alfa Parramatta folks.

If you want someone who knows their Alfa's inside out, Max Oddi in Leichardt. He just did a brand new alternator, water pump, timing belt, aux belt etc on my 2004 156V6. Not cheap but you get what you pay for.
