Title: '06 Brera 2.2 JTS 02 Sensor
Post by: Elliot on October 16, 2015, 02:21:22 PM
Hi Guys,

I'm having trouble with a very high reading on the downstream 02 sensor in my '06 Brera 2.2 JTS.

I've had the mechanic replace both 02 sensors (up and down), and even tried changing the connections so that the upstream sensor is detecting downstream and vice versa.

The high (~700 v ~60) reading follows the downstream sensor (so that the upstream sensor reads high when it is actually reading downstream).

There is another thread that talks about the 156 having four sensors, but no one has commented if there are 4 or 2 in the 939 series.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I appreciate all and any assistance

Cheers

Elliot

You have 4, just as the 2.0 JTS had, 2 Pre-Cat, 2 Post-cat.

It could be a bad connection on the car side, which is why when swapping around it makes no difference.

An air leak somewhere will also cause it.

I have the full diagnostics for you car and am also in Brisbane. Will pm you with my number and see
if we cant find the problem quickly and simply.
