Alfa Romeo 1900 M (La Matta) This unique jeep was brought out from Italy in great condition, and due to the fact that it is still a left-hand drive vehicle, and therefore illegal on Australian roads under normal circumstances, it has rarely been driven. - even the paint on the body is original. The Alfa Romeo 1900 M was released in 1951 as a domestic version of the 2000 jeeps built for use by the Italian Defence Ministry in the Second World War. Interesting features include detachable windows and doors, a popular feature of the much-publicised American Hummer. It has a canvas roof that can be taken off easily and an extra set of spare wheels. La Matta is truly a wonderful example of a unique vehicle.
