Alfa Group S Challenge is off to Winton PDF Print E-mail

Round 2 of the 2007 AROCA Group S Challenge is off to Winton on the 26th and 27th of May as part of the traditional Historic Winton.  The recently completed Alfetta's of Phill Baskett and Scott Farquharson will be there.  This will be Phil's second meeting in the car after it's successful debut at the Phillip Island Classic in February.  This will be the first outing for Scott's immaculately prepared Alfetta GTV which showed it had plenty of speed at it's shakedown at the recent MSCA sprint at Winton.

There are now over 12 cars being developed for the AROCA Group S Challenge, (a mix of Alfetta’s and 105 coupes), which will gradually start to appear over the next 12 months at both race and sprint meetings (a 105 coupe narrowly missed getting to Winton - not quite ready).  And don’t forget if you are not quite ready to go racing, you can start by competing in the AROCA Group S Sprint Class against other Group S prepared cars or in the regularity class at the major Historic meetings. It is a great way to get started.
