Thats why some Alfettas have the battery in the boot from the factory and some do not....to make room for the compressor.  And just because a car has the battery in the boot to begin with doesn't mean it had factory air, mine had the battery in the boot (which looks like it was from the factory) yet no evidence of ever having air-con fitted!! Roll Eyes
