If so then Alfa should be proud of the newest Mitsubishi Lancer. I saw one tonight and the rear has a more than passing resemblence to the MY2004 Alfa 156. Here's a picture. Note the prominent whiskers between the tail lights and compare it to the 156.

I always thought that the Honda Accord Euro was very derivative of the Alfa 156.  Something about the shape of the bonnet, and the way the windscreen pillars emerge from the bonnet.  The shape of the rear lights and reflectors also.  Both nice cars, although I think the Honda lacks the flair of the 156.

That Lancer has definitely taken influence from the 156, but it's an UGLY outcome!

It's a pitty Subaru does't take a leaf from Mitsubishi's book. Their new Impressa looks like a Kia Mentor or is it Rio?
