Further to this discussion on another thread in this forum:-.......http://www.alfaclubvic.org.au/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,68/topic,708.0/

Check this out.  Technically a video, but really the soundtrack of the BRM V16 from the 'Into the Red' book and cd with a few random images put together with it.

Turn it up as loud as possible, but really needs a subwoofer at the very least to do it justice.  You won't believe how ballsy they can make a 1.5 litre engine sound.

On a good sound system, that pass at 42 seconds is just about orgasmic.

Good find Sheldon,
Amazing what can come from only 1500cc. It's unfortunate that the Poms weren't up in the reliability stakes back then so the world didn't get to see much of the BRM V16. I guess that's why there is a shortage of real racing footage. The Italians, Masserati, Fangio and Moss seemed to have had it on their own for those years making the Masser 250F the legend that it is all these years later. Not as good a sound granted, but pretty exciting to hear in the flesh. I must say how lucky we are to have 250F's visit at our Historic meets in Australia so regularly.
