Hey,
It was a good day and go to see a few different cars

The results for my 75 Twin Spark were

POWER: 119.6hp@5567
TORQUE: 171.4Nm@4457

"It’s a good social day, and bragging rights will stand until the next time we do another Dyno day!  See you there."
So i guess i got bragging rights with the highest HP output in a 4 cylinder

As with the apparently standard 75 3.0ltr that made 144hp you speak of Sheldon, that is one of my cars as well and the figures for that were

POWER: 144.8hp@5639
TORQUE: 203.1Nm@4613

As with both cars, they are COMPLETELY STANDARD motor wise.

Thanks

I also enjoyed seeing the variety of cars at this event.  Thanks to the Beninca team for a very efficiently run morning.

My 2001 GTV 3.0 achieved 174hp (130kw) @ 6400rpm and 211Nm @ 5050rpm (remaining above 180Nm from 2000rpm).  This would seem about right given the 199hp of the 156 GTA.  To have my share of bragging rights, I'll have to create a "2 door, FWD" class.

I'm very tempted to put in a BMC CDA intake system and have a rerun.  The UK GTV owners are very positive about this mod, with reports of better power and improved responsiveness. I'd be interested to hear from anyone who has been down this route.

The highlight of the day for me was hearing Colin Byrne's 105 singing. It sounded terrific. My car, even with 2 mufflers removed from its system, sounded very discreet by comparison.  Colin, I hope the car is feeling much better now after the little "rest" it had at the end of its run.

Regards,
John

Hi jon
Thanks, the car is feeling much betterr!, i've actually been thinking about cutting out another muffler but am worried about being to loud for PI.  The "rest" was caused by the external tachometer for the dyno drawing alittle bit more current from the ignition system than it was used to and blowing a fuse.
