Can anybody tell me if when changing a cam belt on a 16v engine (in a 33 so not too creative) .. does the engine have to come out or not ... does this also apply to the belt tensioners?

No you don't need to remove the engine. all you do is take the front grill off and radiator out and work from there. Thats how i did mine and it worked out fine. removing the engine is too much trouble and costly if you bring it to your mechanic.
