Hi everyone,

Just a quick post to say we will be watching your site with interest.  We own several Alfa's and some of you will know us.  Some may not know us but will know one of our cars.  It came out to Philip Island to terrorise a few of you recently at the last AROCA sprint!  We'd like to say how much fun we had, the day ran so smoothly and we were thoroughly exhausted by the end of it but in a good way!  The car ran faultlessly all day, thanks to Bruce and his majic ways with Alfa's.  The one we drove around Philip Island also got us to Melbourne from Adelaide and all the way home again.  No mean feat for a car that the weekend before was in pieces in the shed!  The race engine was run in on the trip over and I think that the pistons were truelly bedded in on the track!

Well done AROCA Vic for once again putting on a great day.  We will be back in 07 and are toying with the idea of building a group S car...

Keep up the good work and look forward to sprinting with you again soon.

Regards,

Julia & Bruce

Hi Julia and Bruce,

Glad you found the site - as you can see we are really getting into Group S.  How is your car going?  We should have three cars at the PI CLassic in March with about another 10 or so committed to the series.  You can see the progress of a few of the cars in the Grp S section of the forum as well as rules, paperwork, contacts and so on.

The club will be running a series for Grp S cars for both Sprints and Racing.  The race series will be held at 4 selected Historic Meetings - for 2007 likely to be PI Mar, Winton May and Sept/Oct, Sandown Nov.

Glad you enjoyed the day,

Hope to see you in 2007,

Scott
