A few likely Group S Competitors are getting together Thursday (23rd Nov) night in Bayswater to look over the Group S rules, the Historic Classification document and generally talk about any areas of concern in preparing a car.  If you are interested give me a call and I will provide details.  Call Scott 0400 094007.

We are going to have another meeting tommorow night (23 Jan) at Bayswater to discuss some of the things that have to be organised in final preparation over the next few weeks before PI.  Feel free to come along if you are interested.

(c) Cockpit: The cockpit must be original save that floor and
transmission tunnel coverings may be removed.

Above is taken from the CAMS manual...which by the way can now be accessed via the CAMS website.

The following link is seat specific....it seems that the situation at the moment, per the manual, is status quo.  If you have time up your sleeve, dont worry about buying the seats just yet, wait for a concrete answer!

Having said that, I will raise both these points for you Edward and let you know.

Both answers are spot on.  Carpets out.  Seats - waiting on the historic commission reviewing designs.  If you want wings then it may be worth a call to G Hoinville at CAMS to discuss or you will have to wait for the the next Historic Commission Meeting for an answer.
