Yeah, my 77 had the battery up front ( i moved to boot). My 79 has battery in the boot. Neil, keep it white, not red... mine is red and it is going silver (when i get a job and can afford the paintjob). it was silver during its Targa and GP rally history(albeit it red originally and it'll never look as good as Phils' and presumably Scott's.

Cars with A/C had the battery in the boot.
My '79 had 25K kms on it when I bought it, from an Alfa dealer, and it certainly had factory air and had the battery under the bonnet sitting on a factory battery tray that was welded to the bodywork. Must have been onew of those Alfa things where they just did what they felt like on the day !

Yes, that may well be the case, we have about a doz of them here and it varies form car to car. The blue GT has it in the boot, but with no air! Go figure.
But the point is that the spec sheet is wrong. It is also has inconsistencies relating to suspension as well.

I have received CAMS vehicle specification sheets for Alfetta GT and GTV. The GT seems to have more options on suspension than GTV. Plus other anomalies. I am in the throes of commencing to build an Sc Alfetta here in WA with a view to having some fun one day with you guys. Should we discuss here or go to CAMS. Regards Martyn Rusty Racer

Hi Martin, The GT seems to have more options on suspension than GTV. Plus other anomalies. I never noticed the suspension differences...what are they It would be nice if we could lower the watts link!!! Happy to discuss here, maybe you should start a seperate thread with details of your build, pics etc. Cheers,

Any chance somebody can post these specification sheets on here. I e-mailed CAMS for them a while ago but never heard from them. Robert

Which one Gary, I assume the 2000?
Branko loaded the 1750 one on the previous page of this thread. I am not sure about the 2000 one though, if you ring CAMS they should be able to provide one. I think the Group S Assoc is currently trying to get ALL of the spec sheets CAMS have available, hopefully they should be available for download eventually from the Grp S website.
