Hi Guys

A few tips from removing the slave Cylinder on my 33 as part of my clutch rebuild.

1. Buy a pair of good quality circlip pliers, the ones you need expand as you squeeze the handle and have 90degree prongs.

2. When putting the Slave back in make sure it is a clean fit into the body of the Bell housing. Some wel and dry can remove any surface rust, and a little lube always help.

3. You need to put pressure on the slave cylinder when putting it back in. A LONG 19mm socket on the end of a LONG 3/4 inch bar with some pressure against the trottle linkage bar worked for me.

4. Put the circlip close to its position and then roll the rubber cover back so it doesnt interfere with the circlip. This will save you plenty of frustration as the rubber puts prseeure on the circlip and wont let it clip into position.

That's it. I found it a pain to do the first time but after a bit of trial and error and using these tips it was quite an easy job.
