G'day everyone.
I have a 1986 Alfa 33 sportswagon that needs a new home.
Unfortunately it's a bit rough around the edges, and it has accident damage in the rear quarter panel.
-The previous owner at one stage attempted to clean it with a scourer
, so the roof and bonnet are scratched.
-There is rust in the engine bay, and on the passengers side door sill.
-Some slacker has taken the badges off the front and back...
-And the accident damage was courtesty of someone hitting it while it was parked out the front of the house. I couldn't justify spending the money on repairing the back quarter alone, when the rest of the car needed work.
It does, however, still go like a rocket! That's 1.5 litres of fuel efficient rocket!
-It's got four near-new remould tyres on it, which grip just as well as the Yokohamas did...
-The four wheel drive system works fine.
-It has a matching spare wheel.
-It has working electric front windows, spotlights and foglights. (no aircon)
This car either needs some TLC from someone with the time and skills to restore her, neither of which I have, or it can go to the wreckers, which seems such a waste of a really nice car!
If anyone is interested, please make me an offer. It's registered until the end of September, which may help you in getting it repaired to roadworthy. Come down to Aspendale and take her for a spin!
