Hi all,
Hasve bought a 147 and loving every minute of it. Just wanted to know if there is anything different about an Alfa 12v cigarette lighter. I can't seem to get any of my accessories (Sat nav, ipod, phone) to saty in the hole to charge. Is this a common Alfa thing?

Thanks
Andrew

It's Italian, you're only supposed to light your cigarettes with it.

dont know about alfas, but most jap cars are not actually meant to take chargers etc in the cig lighter.
in actual fact they are to fat to fit the hole and they push the contacts in the bottom out too far
so when you put your lighter back in it wont stay down. Most manufacturers now fit 12v plugs intended solely for
accessories(stanav,phone charger etc).

I would pull fuse out and try bending contacts in the socket back out, usually fixes most of the ones I see.
