I have just bought myself an alfa 159 2.2 JTS. Its also my first alfa... and what a car. Cheesy

Some help would be great with the below question:

1.) I am not sure if I have a bluetooth or not. Does all alfa 159 come with bluetooth or only certian models.
2.) and the the folding mirrors. How do I get the side mirrors to fold or again just for certian models?

Any help would be great!

When we acquired our 159 3.2lt in Dec06, The Blue&Me system was only available on the 3.2's.  Dunno about the mirrors.

I'm not certain about what are the current standard/options configurations.

I have seen both 2.2 and 2.4 advertised for sale which have them fitted.  They are not listed as an optional accessory, so I am going to ASSUME your car would also have them.
Check for the switch located at the base of the mirror control switch.  It is located on the side of the switch that faces the rear of the car.
Let me know if you are unable to locate it and I will take a photo for you.

Also, the gearing of the folding mechanism, prevents me from folding the mirrors by hand.  That may provide you with another clue.

The Alfa 159 spec sheet indicates Blue&Me is standard on all 159s.

Our 159 2.2 Wagon doesn't have bluetooth. At the time I asked the dealer and was told it was only on the 3.2.

Hi,

I've got a 159 TI (2.2) and it has the Bluetooth system.

Not that its up to much - I'm having trouble getting my address book uploaded into it, and I have to reconnect my phone each time I get in the car! I'm taking it into the dealer in the next couple of weeks to get some advice.

Cheers,

Jaycee:

Suggest you go to main alfa site:  www.alfaromeo.com ;  click on Tech Experience;  click on Technology and Innovation; scroll through to find Blue&Me Option;  select Blue&Me  (not Blue&Me +Nav);  then choose your mobile phone from the pull down list.

Some mobile phones (like Samsung) have to manually reconnect each time you get into the car.  Nokias work fine.

Hope that helps.
