Proof that the Alfa 155 Q4 goes well in the wet - and yes the Subaru WRX broke down on lap 3 - but its too wet too see him!

Yes Jim, it was a good day for a "swim".

I didn't want to miss out so I parked on the inside of the sweeper and had a dip.
Almost couldnt get out!! Having too much fun.

The Q4 was nice and quick in the wet. Can't wait to see how fast it is in the dry.

See you at winton, again.

155s are hot hot hot. It really needs some black or charcoal wheels though Jim.

Is this one of the later improved cars?

Funny you should say that! I am having the wheels painted 'charcoal' this week! - in time for AROCA Winton on the 10th!

my 155 is a 1995 year 155 Q4 - so its a 2L 4WD turbo car -

cheers, jimn~

MMMMmmm,  since this thread has gone from full size to 1/10 size ......

I think I have an unpainted, unused Tamiya 155 1/10 bodyshell at home somewhere!

Here's a couple of laps from that day that I've gotten around to compressing for youtube.  This was the mostly dry run I had, but still pretty slippery.

Correction - this was the Winton in August!
