Hi guys
After a woeful day at Sandown where I managed to destroy both the fitted fuel pump and the spare I’m after a new pump!  Looks like it was a high voltage output from the alternator that was the culprit, not really the fuel pumps fault.  I was using a facet type pump but wasn’t really happy with the reliability (the reason for having a spare), or the way it needs to be mounted vertically.  I haven’t added a return line and am just running the standard reg so I’m after a low pressure pump not an EFI type. The car is going to targa again next year so reliability is the biggest concern (I’m thinking of putting the mechanical pump back on as a spare as suggested by vin sharp) Just wondering what pumps other people have used?
