Anyone out there have/know of a 101 series 1600 motor or block for sale? The engine no. will start with 00112.xxxxx or 00121.xxxxx. My original Sprint motor disappeared long ago and a 105 series donk has been substituted. All info appreciated.
Cheers

Hi Geoff,

There is an Alfa spares/wrecking yard at Windsor NSW, Mckone Automotive Service -
02 45775144. The proprietor is a guy called Tony McKone who has been wonderfully helpful to me in my 10 months of 1750 Berlina ownership.  Tony has an encyclopaedic knowledge of all things Alfa and a shed full of engines.  I'm pretty certain he had a 101 there along with all the 105 and 116's. Its worth a call anyway.

Ps he has the most gorgeous 101 spider right hand drive, ripe for restoration under a cover in the back of the shed, sitting in between a 101 coupe and 2600 sprint. Heaven.
