Hi all,

in reaction to needing to purchase a new air filter in the near future and the rediculous prices being asked, I am interested to know whether the pod filter is a good option ... or should i get a reusable panel filter e.g. K&N or Pipercross?

Who uses them and do they achieve much?

G'day Matthew

I think the pod filter thing is a bit of a non-event in and of itself. Maybe some benefit if you're addressing things a little more systemically. Restriction-wise (again assuming a 75) the main problem will be the AFM and that 180-degree bend in the intake box upstream of the AFM.

Expensive but bloody good quality: http://www.hiperformancestore.com/Intakes.htm (assuming it's for a 75). More info at http://www.alfagtv6.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=513
