Hi
New to this so i thought i should say G'day. I'm from "sunny" Canberra and hoping to find a 105 stepnose to restore. Actually going to look at 1600 '68 Guilia on the weekend.......fingers crossed it's what I'm after. Anyhow looking forward to absorbing as much info as i can from whoever i can about these sexy little cars.
Anyone tell me what the more sought after 105's are?

Cheers Grin

Hi enigma1971,

Anyone tell me what the more sought after 105's are?
It's a bit like, who is the best looking supermodel Grin Personally I'm with you, I love the stepnose models I like the clean looking single headlight (and I would love to build a GTA replica one day).  But I think most tend to go for the 2000 models (or 1750).  I guess it depends what you want to do with it.

I don't think I am bias, but the 'step nose' Giulia Sprints 1963-1668 encompassing 1600 and 1300 and the 1600 & 1750 Duetto and Spider seem to be the most sought after at present. The ever popular 1750 GTV series one  too is also chased by many providing that sweet revving motor in the earlier cars with those sporty seats. This is not unusual as often the most sought after classics are often the first of the model range or depending on your point of view the last of the model range. I also have a soft spot for the last of the 105 2000 litre range, with more torque from the engine and a few more refinements added to to original package.. Giulia Super and Berlina too are fancied by many. I guess at the end of the day it is all in the eye of the beholder.
