When replacing the lower sump due to contact to a low flying bridge bolt i have found an item floating in the bottom of the sump. I believe its an oil gallery plug? Which seems to have come out of the number 2 cylinder weight on crank but motor still has strong oil pressure. Does this sound consistant with the 1750 motors?
Is it possible to put new oil gallery plugs with the motor still installed in the car?

This is a photo of the item.
