this is most likely a very stupid question, but i am having a general concern about my recently purchased alfa romeo jts 04 selespeed.

as im quite new to alfa romeos i haven't got great knowledge on the way the motor works but im hoping that someone can clarify one concern i am having...

when my jts go's down in gears and more so down to second and first i hear a loud "click click" noise, it sounds like its some sort of metal clicking. it sometimes also happens when go up in gears generally (the lower gears).

is this a problem? or is this something which is quite natural in the way the selespeed transmission works?

any help would be really appreciated.

btw.. i have taken it for a major service to our local alfa dealer ( i live in melb ) and pointed this out to them but they did not indicate it as a problem as nothing was mentioned about it on pick up...

cheers.

It's just the selespeed hydraulic actuators doing their job - nothing to wory about
