as the title states im thinking of buys an alfa 33 superhatch 1.5L 1988. I have never owned an alfa before let alone a 33. what are they like to own and drive? Are they reliable? does it cost more to service when compared to a standard falcon or commodore. I assume parts are rare and exspensive? Are there any inherent/common problems i should look out for?

Any help would be Great!

Also if it has a poor shift from 1st into 2nd is that a problem? I was told by the owner that its a common alfa problem and it isnt somthing to worry about!
