Hi Guys

Just wondering if anyone has walked the tightrope of this subject. I am off to the UK in Feb and worked out that to have a TomTom for 11 days with the hire car would cost me around $280AUS.

A new TOMTOM One here is around $330 so I thought I would buy one and just get the UK maps.

I did some research and after a false start with a HP Ipaq 312 (taken back to the store the next morning) I have one of the TomTom GO 720's.

Just wondering if other people have them and what they think. I often travel O/S and interstate so I am planning for it to get a workout during the year.

CAtch ya

There is a Tom Tom forum. I suggest you have a look there. I think there may have been a thread about this.

Will do Mate.

After spending a weekend driving around under the guidance of the TT 720 I can only recommend it.
