Sheldon,
Was this the one recently advertised on the forum last week in Mornington?  If so looks like you got a bargain
I enquired about this car but was already sold - well done,  what was the original colour?

Snap!  I bought a GTV6 this weekend as well!

Not as nice as your one joinmelbourne, but I'm just stoked to have one after lusting after them for so long.  Mine needs a bit of work, and a bit of a tidy, but she's pretty solid and mostly all there.

Only had to drive it 100km to get it home, but I fell in love with her after about 500m.

Congrats joinmelbourne, I look forward to comparing cars one day (may take some time and $$ to get mine on the road!)

A different day maybe?  Alfa sprint, not MSCA?

Here's a couple of laps from that day that I've gotten around to compressing for youtube.  This was the mostly dry run I had, but still pretty slippery.

Correction - this was the Winton in August!

I have seen both 2.2 and 2.4 advertised for sale which have them fitted.  They are not listed as an optional accessory, so I am going to ASSUME your car would also have them.
Check for the switch located at the base of the mirror control switch.  It is located on the side of the switch that faces the rear of the car.
Let me know if you are unable to locate it and I will take a photo for you.

Also, the gearing of the folding mechanism, prevents me from folding the mirrors by hand.  That may provide you with another clue.

The Alfa 159 spec sheet indicates Blue&Me is standard on all 159s.

What do you guys think of the 'generic' premium fuels? The ones just labeled 'premium', that don't give a RON rating.

I've been filling up at the same Ampol service station for weeks now, putting in tank after tank of 'Gold' fuel. Can't say I notice any difference between it and fuel from BP or the like.

My little green alfetta Gtv, while slightly modified now, started life as a standard alfa 2Ltr. Always ran it on primium unleaded(no additives), and it always ran sweet as...but i did tweek the timing, to get the most out of it and make sure it didn't ping. I usually used the mobil.
