Thought I'd try and give this sud forum a boot in the arse.

An ad for a NZ racesud.  Seems expensive.  As an idea I once did a 1.29 at Manfield (this one has done a 1.19) in my dad's standard 1980 Porsche 928S in my first go at driving on the track (but I knew the track well from racing my bike there).

Alfasud ti race car, $30,000 2006-7 Trofeo series GTA class (open class) Champion. This is a very quick and reliable race car with fantastic balance/handling and very good power to weight, Extensive homologated cage and light weight seam welded chassis.
Lyn Rogers Motorsport engineered 1.7 16v boxer engine (with ‘very’ special heads) 48mm carbs, custom forged pistons and extensive block & crank work to ensure reliability, i.e. 198hp at only 7,400rpm. pukekohe; 1:09/ manfield; 1:19/ taupo1; 1:46/ taupo2; 1:17.
cold air box / oil cooler. 4.1 final drive, close ratio box. Light weight billet fly wheel. Kevlar/ceramic paddle clutch. Stainless fuel cell. Holley pump & regulator. Lexan polycarb windows (except front screen). Carbon fiber light weight bonnet. Under tray. Wilwood brakes all round with twin masters, balance bar, remote adjuster & inline bias. Coil over adjustable platforms & koni’s. 5.5kg Odyssey gellcell battery. Sparco FIA harness (exp.2011). There is still plenty of development that could be done if you want to go faster. This car would cost easily 3 times what I’m asking which is $30,000, if you built it from scratch. You can look up You-Tube to see it in action (search word “sud16v”). Also available as an extra is my purpose made light weight car trailer, max width only 2.120mm, braked, single axle (easy to handle and tow’s like a dream) $3,000 ono. Serious interested parties only please contact Eddie 0274-974260 or eddielisab@xtra.co.nz Updated 1 Mar 2008

It looks like someone got a bit confused and put a full roll cage in the house instead of the car.  Shocked Suburban South Africa looks so inviting !

$10,200!!!!!! the buy of a lifetime! first thing you would have to do is put the carbies back on. well i reckon it would add to the experience anyway

Hi Matt ,Tom Patrizi in Carlton has one of Martins old 75 wrecks sitting out in the laneway. The doors were still attached, you might need to buy some red paint as the car is white
Good Luck

Was wanting to buy a set of hinges for a 75 as the pin seems to have worn quite badly on the passenger's door.

Interestingly enough the drivers door is fine .... go figure.

I would prefer red (which red shouldn't really matter as its in the door cavity) but would take any colour if the price was right.

Even if condition is not mickey mouse i would be interested as i could re-pin them just need something to hold the door on while it gets done so i don't look like Jeremy Clarkson in his Rover SD1.

Let me know if anybody has wrecked a 75 and is lookin to off load parts.

Cheers

Matt

You need to get an extention to your 3rd party insurer.

Ring up your insurer and ask how to arrange it. You need to arrange it for each specific event. Some charge about $10. If you are with Suncorp you can do it at any branch. Ring me later today if you want. I have a red one!
