1  General Category / General Discussion / Cigarette Lighter question on: August 27, 2008, 10:03:00 PM
Hi all,
Hasve bought a 147 and loving every minute of it. Just wanted to know if there is anything different about an Alfa 12v cigarette lighter. I can't seem to get any of my accessories (Sat nav, ipod, phone) to saty in the hole to charge. Is this a common Alfa thing?

Thanks
Andrew
2  Technical / 932 Series (156, GTV, Spider, 147, and 166) / After Market Tail Lights for 147, any had experience? on: July 28, 2008, 12:02:46 PM
Hi, well I bought myself a 2004 147 Selespeed! Drove from Brisbane to Sydney to get it. Let me just say the drive back in it was a blast compared to the drive down in my Hyundai LaVita! I'm in love!

I would like to personalise my car a little and I just wanted to know if anyone had any experience with fitting after market tail lights and side indicator light to their cars?

These are the ones.

Thankyou very much John. The car is a 2004 model so hopefully that will mean the upgrade.

Thanks again!

....I get a lot of reading and not much replying.
I am after advice on what to look for when buying an Alfa 147 Selespeed. I need to purchase an auto as my wife can only drive one. I have found some stuff on the net, but it is all overseas based and so far reports not too glowing of the Selespeed. I was after some advise from owners of this car in Australia and only had one reply from my posting of "Feedback/Advice on 2003 ALFA ROMEO 147 Selespeed Twin Spark"
in the General Discussion & Technical - Current models discussion forums.

I just thought there would be no better place to go than here to ask for some advice. Any infor would be really appreciated.  Smiley

Thanks

Andrew

Hi all,
I have been smitten by an Alfa! It is a 2003 ALFA ROMEO 147 MY2002 Selespeed Twin Spark. It would be my first time owning an Alfa if I purchase it, and was just wondering if anyone could give me any advice/warning/regarding this model.

I have a bit of info on some work done on it. It has 60,000km on the clock. Has just had the timing belt changed in this service as well as the Selespeed paddles replaced.

Also, I'm from Brisbane and was wondering if anyone knew of servicing places of repute which I could take the car to be checked out before I buy.

Thanks all, I look forward to your valued/experienced/honest responses.

Andrew
