Hi all,
i guess my cars motors has been worn out big time...so m looking for 2nd hand motor engine as per the specifications of the car, the car is 2 litre - motor engine for 156 monza selespeed 2002 model.

does anyone  knows or can pass me the details from where could i find it. please..!!!

can anyone suggest real good and economical mechanics for 156, for problems with oil filters and consumption.. and may be some engine probs..too???

i m having a tough luck with finding engine oil for my car, from where can i buy engine oil 10w60, for my 156 selespeed alfa. been to Kmart, autobarn, repco, no one stocks it.
please advise,

also is it ok to put in normal unleaded petrol in the car..does tht contain "ron 95" or should i be using high end petrol,
and any recommended engine oil. i heard i should be using only Mobil engine oil.

hi,
i jst bought 156 2.0litre monza selespeed sedan,
driving in past couple of days i m Experiencing problems with temp.
Now,
when the car is in motion the temperature guage on dashboard shows normal arnd 50degrees,
but as soon as i m on red light or stuck in traffic the temperature rises to 90 degrees,
but again whn its in normal motion the temp. drops back.
i have filled with coolant and oil as well, its all there perfect.
but then why does it do like this.?
similarly the oil warning light on dashboard,
it flashes on and off (fast) while at traffic or signal for a bit long time otherwise as soon as car is in motion its off.!!

can anyone please advice me on why is this happening..or is it normal to be like this,

my name is abhi nd frm south africa,
on 29th feb i bought my first ALFA car..2002 156 Monza twin spark, selespeed..
well till now i m njoying my ride in tht car,
except for few problems tht has been surfacing on and off.
i will ask reviews from some of the most experienced and novice members to show me the right path on how to maintain a car Properly.!!
