If Gary's doing racecraft ... I had better to, count me in.

Yes Pep that struck a memory cord, the reason it was a lower power engine in the GTV/Spider had to do with the cramped engine bay ... I think the manifold was different.

... and yes that is a very fine looking sprint, if only those financial dudes in the US hadn't shafted the rest of us (and I had more garage space).

Brad's "Mongrel" sprint (yes i said Brad's not my old:)), Frank's "Green" Machine, and Bob Whitehouses "Stealth"  sprints.

That sentance is probably the only time your old car will come before those other weapons...

I am pretty sure (and stand to be corrected) that the later model Spider had a 3.2 (pre the hot Brera Spider version).

There are couple of maintenance/repair service centre in Melbourne, I can't find any in Brisbane in this forum.

The forum is hosted by AROCA Vic, hence the dominance of Victorian sponsors. I am sure some of our Queensland friends have the appropriate suggestions.
7  General Category / Off Topic / Re: So what do you reckon of Topgear Australia on: November 18, 2008, 11:02:23 AM
ditto garry!

Considering the lower budget given the size of the audience the Aussie Top Gear is pretty damn good.

Yes, I think you are right. But in the view of public decency you are soo wrong!!!!

Series 11, Episode 4 had the art critique on the Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione which I think you are referring to.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Top_Gear_episodes#Series_Eleven

Pretty sure it had already been televised on SBS earlier this year, in fact there was a thread discussing the Challenge (less than £1000 Alfa Romeos) from the previous episodes.

Patience, Series 12 it will be on soon enough.

Or you could buy a 159 and avoid this problem completely.
Nice. BTW: Does the fuel gauge work on your 159?

Are you looking for offers in these ranges?
14  State Divisions / Competition / Re: Roll Cages For Sprint Cars on: October 14, 2008, 05:04:06 PM
Well I know he won't do a cage for a 90.... Angry
Surely the payment of a 90 would have swayed him  Wink
15  Technical / 105/115 Series (105 Coupe/Spider/Berlina) / Re: Local supplier of 105 panels required. on: October 13, 2008, 11:25:37 PM
Tim,
Burwood panels were just piecing together Marco's 105 (in a very fine fashion), there don't have 105 panels hanging about. Marco's post was just saying Burwood panels were contacting a third party to source the required panels and there was a little delay. Correct me if I'm wrong Marco.
Check our sponsors page, some of those chaps may be able to assist you.
