I have had a lot of fun doing this over the last month and particularly yesterday preparing the attached……hope you get a laugh out of it (if you do get a giggle out of it and you haven’t donated yet, you still can donate if you like………..hint!!)

Thanks for your support one and all, ‘Oz Alfisti’ has raised $410.30 so far, not bad for just the four of us.

Thank god I could shave this morning!!

Best regards,

Phil Baskett

Hey Alfamale,

I missed this a while back.  Nice one!  Supercharged 147GTA, making some good horsepower too.  You must be happy with mid 13 sec quarter mile times.  Whats the understeer like?

Good Post!! Grin

Out of curiosity, where did you get this from?
11  General Category / General Discussion / Re: Wait, you did what...?? on: November 25, 2008, 09:25:03 AM
Not to mention the noise factor.  One of the best experiences about driving any V6 Alfa has to be the sound IMHO.

The Alfa V6 engine, quite simply one of the most magnificent sounding engines......ever.

The GM 3.6 V6...tinny rattly god awful sound.

Why?  Just why?

Or even go with the Bosch Jetronic off the 164's instead of the Motronic.

I wouldn't go near the modern Alfa dealers, they don't know and don't care.

I'm sorry, but what a load of tripe.  They DO know, and what’s more they DO care.  Most of the guys are club members and are passionate about the marque.  Are you basing your opinion on past experience or just making an ill-informed statement that puts at risk the good relationship this club enjoys with the dealers?
