Title: cam belt + tensioner on 16v Post by: Matthew Coote on April 05, 2007, 09:14:13 PM Can anybody tell me if when changing a cam belt on a 16v engine (in a 33 so not too creative) .. does the engine have to come out or not ... does this also apply to the belt tensioners?

Thats how i did mine and it worked out fine. removing the engine is too much trouble and costly if you bring it to your mechanic.
